Sun Exposure And Vitamin D Levels May Play Strong Role In Risk Of Type 1 Diabetes

ScienceDaily (Jun. 5, 2008) Sun exposureand vitamin D levels may play a strong role in risk of type 1 diabetesin children, according to new findings by researchers at the MooresCancer Center at University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and theDepartment of Family and Preventive Medicine. This association comes onthe heels of similar research findings by this same group regardingvitamin D levels and several major cancers.
